What is the pilates method?
"Control" - as the very famous American instructor Romana Kryzanowska said, "Pilates is a method of stretching, strength and control. And control is the most important, because it involves your mind".
Pilates teaches you to control your body and not be at its mercy. It is the mind itself that shapes the body. You will become the architect of your own body and your own development. There are many ways to make pilates work for you, whatever your experience or fitness level.
In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see it, and in 30 you will have a new body.
Pilates is a series of exercises that aim to gently strengthen and sculpt your figure. All parts of the body are challenged through specific movements and are accompanied by breathing exercises.
The benefits are many: balance and muscle development, concentration, breathing, centering and control.
How does a pilates class work?
This is an all-level Pilates class on a mat. Students are guided through a series of Pilates floor exercises that explore various body positions, planes of motion and joint movements. The instructor may also use Pilates props such as a foam roller, Pilates circle, Thera Bands, and more, for some exercises.
In order to guarantee a personalized follow-up and quality of the course, the maximum capacity of participants is limited to a small number (4-6 people) per course.
